Philosopher Saint
Shree Dnyaneshwara
Philosopher Jagadguru
Saint Shree Tukaram
Philosopher Swami Vivekananda
The very basis upon which the MIT Group stands, is born out of the thought of sustainability in all human endeavours. Prof. Dr. Karad envisioned education rooted in the spiritual traditions of the Indian civilization. His upbringing in the humble village background, with the right Sanskars from his elders, along with the inspiration he derived from Sant Dnyaneshwar, Sant Tukaram, Swami Vivekanand and Albert Einstein, led to the establishment of an educational conglomerate that blends science with spirituality.
As an ardent follower and believer in the philosophy professed by great saints, sages and seers such as Sant Dnyaneshwar and Swami Vivekanand, and modern scientists such as Albert Einstein, Prof. Dr. Karad, with his rich knowledge, wisdom and appropriate understanding of the role of science and spirituality, is constantly engaged in promoting the noble cause of human welfare.
The very first ovi (verse) of Dnyaneshwari, written by Sant Dnyaneshwar, at the young age of 16, made a lasting impression on the mind of Prof. Dr. Karad and set him forth on his life’s mission to promote the Culture of Peace in the world through appropriate understanding of the role of science and spiritually.
ओम नमो जी आद्या, वेद प्रतिपाद्या. जय जय स्वसंवेद्या, आत्मरूपा.
This verse very distinctly speaks about Dnyaneshwar’s purpose behind writing this treatise on Bhagwad Gita, which is seeking the “Ultimate Truth” – “The Ultimate Reality” – “The Ultimate State of Matter” as enunciated in the Vedas. Dnyaneshwar further states that the “Ultimate Truth” is nothing but pure intelligence/consciousness, the knowledge divine, the true nature of the soul – Atman. Similarly, great scientists such as Galileo Galilei and Isaac Newton made a tremendous impact on the mind of Prof. Dr. Karad and helped in understanding the true nature of the self.
The journey from philosopher saint Dnyaneshwar to Albert Einstein is a long one in time and space. However, the very philosophical and scientific narrations revealed in the verses of Dnyaneshwari reflect the very principles and laws of Mother Nature and of life, which are enunciated through equations like E=MC2, the concept of God Particle and various formulae of Mathematics and Physics.
Finally, this profound verse from Atharva Veda, which in simple words illustrates the concept of “Vasudhaiv Kutumbakam” (The world is one family), played a major role in shaping the thoughts of Prof. Dr. Karad and MIT Group.
Dr. Albert Einstein
